HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION NIGHT

High School Information Night is Desert Academy’s answer to your questions about high school options, our programs and about colleges. It will be an opportunity for students and parents to experience 21st century education in action! Parents will attend panel discussions on topics ranging from the International Baccalaureate Programmes, with a focus on the diploma Programme with its different options, to extra-curricular activities and school culture. students will also meet with high school faculty.

Bingo Night For United Way
Join us for a fun night of Bingo next Friday, 11/18 from 5:00-7:00pm in the Big Room. Come & enjoy music, food, & great prizes including an i-pod touch as the blackout prize! All proceeds will be donated to the United Way’s Santa Fe Children’s Project to buy holiday gifts for kids in need.

MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION DAY
Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 10:00 am-12:30 noon
Visitor day is an opportunity for students and parents to experience 21st century education in action! After a brief opening presentation, parents and students will split up to get a feel of what desert is really like. Parents will attend panel discussions on topics ranging from the International Baccalaureate Programmes, with a focus on the Middle years Programme, to extra-curricular activities and school culture, and students will attend classes offered by some of Desert’s dynamic teachers. Information about financial aid, merit scholarship, and college counseling will be provided. A light brunch will be served.

Restaurant Night @ Junction
Thursday, November 10
Join all your Desert Academy friends for lunch or dinner at Junction in the Railyard on Thursday, November 10! The restaurant will donate 20% of all proceeds to Desert Academy. If you haven’t been to Junction, it’s a great place with a casual atmosphere – perfect for all ages. What a fun way to support Desert! Please, please send this to all of your email contacts, especially those who work downtown and go out for lunch or dinner.
