Parents and students will be notified of registration and payment deadlines prior to each test held at Desert Academy.
Other academic testing/assessment information:
The first and third Quarters end October 15 and March 4. Students are given a grade and narrative report at this time. The quarter grades serve as a progress report for the semester grades.
The first and second semesters end December 17 and May 26. Grades only are given at the semesters. The semester grades are recorded on students’ official report cards and transcripts.
Parent/teacher conferences are held in the fall and spring; November 5 and April 1.
Please note the ACT/SAT deadlines listed to avoid penalties. It is best to register online, if you need to register by paper,
packets are available in the college counselor’s office. Register as early as possible to insure your choice of test sites. If you need assistance from the Counseling Office, begin the paperwork at least two weeks in advance of the registration deadline.
You are responsible for registering for these tests. Checks are payable to ACT or SAT when you enclose them in your packet. The school code needed for tests is 320-597. Packets mailed after the deadline will not be accepted by either registration service. |
