To reserve space for a student, the New Student Fee, Annual Parent Association Fee, and a $1,000 deposit must be returned with the completed enrollment contract.
The Annual Activity Fee covers participation in sports (including transportation to practices and events), field trips, mandatory student tests (such as the PSAT and PLAN), and hotel costs for single-night stays on overnight sports or field trips.
There are additional charges for the Assistance Dogs of the West class program, other special programs, multi-day sports or field trips, the middle-school winter sports programs, and other similar activities.
TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS
Families are given three payment options for the balance of tuition and fees due after the deposit, financial aid, and merit scholarship awards are applied. An option must be indicated on the enrollment contract.
Prepayment: 3% discount on tuition if the balance due is paid in full by May 15, 2013.
Two Payments: One half of the balance is due on July 1, 2013; the other half is due on November 17, 2013.
Monthly Payments: The balance due is divided into ten equal monthly payments. Families must enroll in FACTS Tuition Management to qualify for monthly payments. The FACTS plan is based on automatic electronic payments, as authorized by parents from their checking or savings accounts. The entire amount of tuition and fees due is paid over a 10-month period, beginning on July 5 or July 20, 2013.
FACTS uses the ECashier payment tool to process payments. Click on the link below to set up your automatic tuition payments. In order to use ECashier you will need a username and password provided by the business office.
3% discount for prepayment of all tuition due by May 15, 2013.
5% sibling discount will be applied to tuition for additional students attending Desert Academy.
Discounts are applied to the balance of tuition after financial aid and/or merit scholarship awards are applied.
TUITION AND FEES FOR PARTIAL YEAR ENROLLMENT
Students enrolling during the first academic quarter pay full tuition.
Students enrolling during the second academic quarter will receive a 25% reduction in tuition.
Students enrolling during the third or fourth academic quarter will receive a 50% reduction in tuition.
We generally do not accept students for the fourth quarter.
All other basic fees apply as stated above.
