Tuition and Fees for 2014-15: Grades 7-12

Annual Parent Association Fee: $60 Due with contract (one per family)
Annual Book Fee: $300 Per student
Annual Technology Fee: $300 Per student
School Activity Fee: $350
Includes all sport team fees; basic sports uniforms; academic trips and associated entry fees; PSAT and PLAN fees; transportation to most academic, sports, and speech and debate events; single-night hotel charges; and supervision for early drop-off and late pick-up of students.
There may be additional charges for special programs, field trips, multi-day trips, etc;. There are no fees for sports participation.
In order to reserve space for a new student, the $1,000 tuition down payment and $685 in basic fees are to be paid and returned with the completed Enrollment Contract ($1,685 total). To reserve space for a returning student , the $1,000 tuition down payment and $60 in basic fees are to be paid and returned with the completed Enrollment Contract ($1,060 total). Families have three payment options for the balance of tuition and basic fees after Financial Assistnace awards are applied. Select one option on the completed Enrollment Contract as detailed below.
TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS
The following payment options reflect credit for the tuition down payment ($1,000), plus basic fees.
Prepayment: $17,275 3% discount on tuition if the balance due is paid in full by May 16, 2014.
Two Payments: $8,890 One half of the balance of tuition is due on July 1, 2014; the other half is due on November 17, 2014.
10 Monthly Monthly Payments: The balance due is divided into ten equal monthly payments. Families must enroll in FACTS Tuition Management to qualify for monthly payments. The FACTS plan is based on automatic electronic payments, as authorized by parents from their checking or savings accounts. The entire amount of tuition and fees due is paid over a 10-month period, beginning on July 5 or July 20, 2013.
FACTS uses the ECashier payment tool to process payments. Click on the link below to set up your automatic tuition payments. In order to use ECashier you will need a username and password provided by the business office.
3% discount for prepayment of all tuition due by May 15, 2013.
5% sibling discount will be applied to tuition for additional students attending Desert Academy.
Discounts are applied to the balance of tuition after financial aid and/or merit scholarship awards are applied.
TUITION AND FEES FOR PARTIAL YEAR ENROLLMENT
Students enrolling during the first academic quarter pay full tuition.
Students enrolling during the second academic quarter will receive a 25% reduction in tuition.
Students enrolling during the third or fourth academic quarter will receive a 50% reduction in tuition.
We generally do not accept students for the fourth quarter.
All other basic fees apply as stated above.
