Research show that students whose parents are involved in their school have better grades and speak positively about their school experiences. Are you involved? We would love for you to be! There are many opportunities during the year to show your support for Desert Academy by serving on a committee, volunteering to help with an event or soliciting financial support from businesses. Events require lots of volunteers yet often don’t take too much time. During the 09-10 school year, our Golf Classic that was held in early October and our Gala and Auction, which will be held January 30, are two events that are organized by committees of volunteers. Work has already begun for the auction, so we need everything from gift solicitors to clean up crew. Give the Development Office a call to get involved. And remember, it means more to your child than you can imagine!
